Introducing Paul Wong, a seasoned DJ and devoted music aficionado hailing from the vibrant town of Ajax, Ontario, Canada. Paul's musical journey ignited during his formative years in junior high school when a close friend introduced him to the enchanting world of dance music, all thanks to a trusty old ghetto blaster. This serendipitous encounter marked the inception of his unwavering passion for music.

With the flames of enthusiasm kindled, Paul took a decisive step forward by acquiring his very first Technics 1200 turntable, embarking on an exhilarating odyssey into the realm of DJing. As he honed his craft, his ardor for music deepened, and he gravitated toward the subterranean soundscapes of underground dance genres. In his quest for mastery, Paul diligently studied the rhythmic intricacies of beats per minute (BPM) and perfected the art of seamless beat mixing, all under the guidance of a treasured DJ tutorial VHS tape entitled "Cameron Paul Tells All about Success in DJing & Remixing."

Paul's eclectic musical journey is enriched by a diverse tapestry of influences, encompassing genres like Drum & Bass, Hard Rock, Hip-Hop, and a myriad of underground dance styles.

In the nascent stages of his career, Paul spun tunes at a variety of gatherings, from high school dances to impromptu parties hosted in the depths of a local McDonald's basement. These early gigs provided the necessary means for Paul to gradually amass the equipment he needed to realize his dream. His first complete studio setup featured a modest yet impactful ensemble:

Emax (emu) II keyboard, serving as his inaugural sample synth.
Atari 1040st, coupled with a cherished copy of Cubase.

However, Paul soon realized that music's true essence goes beyond the equipment, and he embarked on a costly journey to enhance his gear collection. A Protools 888, Yamaha P-20 Electric Piano Midi Controller, Yamaha NS-10 Monitors, Roland JP88 Rackmount, Kurzweil K2000, and Mackie VLZ-Pro were among the treasures he acquired. Though he dedicated ample time to mastering this gear, his musical endeavors were temporarily overshadowed.

In 2006, a stroke of misfortune struck when Paul's hard drive suffered a catastrophic failure, causing him to lose a significant body of work. Overwhelmed by anger and frustration, he reluctantly parted with his beloved gear and declared an end to his musical pursuit.

Fast forward to 2019, over a decade later, Paul found himself drawn back to the magnetic pull of music. In an act of pure determination, he embarked on a last-ditch effort to resurrect his lost work, with astonishing success. What couldn't be recovered was diligently recreated, breathing new life into his musical catalog. This revival unfolded on a trusty Macbook Pro 2011, which remarkably transformed his sound.

The year 2022 marked another chapter in Paul's resilient journey. Accidental mishaps led to the loss of his cherished Earpollution headphones and the demise of his Macbook Pro 2011. Undeterred, he embraced change, welcoming a used Macbook Pro 2015 into his creative arsenal and reviving a pair of AIWA Excelia HP-EX150 headphones.
